Therapeutic massage

Prenatal massage has many benefits and can help you throughout all stages of your pregnancy. A prenatal massage during the third trimester is highly recommended. By the time you hit the third trimester you are starting the countdown. Not just to meet your new baby but also because your body is most likely uncomfortable by now. It’s possible your feet are swelling, your back aches and you probably can’t sleep. Prenatal massage can help with all of these and more.

Prenatal Massage

An alternative medicine massage therapy and bodywork involving the placement of a number of either heated or cooled stones to the body for the purpose of pain relief, relaxation and therapy.

Hot/Cold Stone massage

This therapy stimulates the limbic system, linked to the emotions, heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress, and hormone balance. In this way, essential oils can have a subtle, yet holistic effect on the body.

Aromatherapy massage

Using the Japanese ancient techniques of stimulating skin and muscle pressure points, this massage helps to promote blood flow and cell repair.

Start postpartum massage as soon as you feel comfortable, which is often between one to four weeks after a vaginal birth, but it's essential to get clearance from your doctor first. For a cesarean birth, wait at least four to eight weeks and until you have healed sufficiently from the surgery. 

PostPartum Manual Lymphatic Massage

Our post-op lymphatic massage is a gentle, hands-only 40-minute & (70-minute in 90MIN session)designed to support your recovery after cosmetic or surgical procedures. We begin seeing clients 5–8 days after surgery, once your doctor has given you medical clearance to begin massage therapy.

No machines are used – all massage techniques are performed manually.

Session time begins once the massage starts. We understand that removing compression garments or assisting with other needs takes time, and we do not count that against your massage session.

We do not express or push fluids from surgical incisions. Our focus is on reducing swelling, promoting healthy lymphatic flow, and enhancing your overall comfort as you heal.

WE DO NOT PUSH FLUIDS OUT.

Treatment is performed by 2 set of hands: Leslie ( LMT ) and Sharys assisting you to remove garments and have a smooth session.
